Our journey to Joshua Tree National Park began after attending Neha and Mubeen’s wedding reunion in Los Angeles, followed by a scenic drive to Twentynine Palms, where we stayed at the Fairfield Inn. Entering the park felt like stepping into a different world, with thousands of unique Joshua trees scattered across the vast desert landscape. The combination of rugged terrain, open skies, and unusual vegetation created a setting unlike anywhere else we had visited. It was the perfect introduction to one of California’s most distinctive national parks.
One of the highlights of our visit was seeing the park’s famous Joshua trees, which seemed to stretch endlessly across the desert. We also explored the Cactus Garden, where clusters of cholla cacti created a striking and memorable landscape. The unique desert ecosystem revealed a surprising variety of plant life thriving in harsh conditions. I was fascinated by how such a seemingly barren environment could support so much natural beauty.
