Our October 20–27 journey took us across some of California’s most contrasting landscapes. We began at Lassen National Park, from there, we headed toward the extraordinary desert scenery of Death Valley National Park, where vast salt flats, sand dunes, and colorful desert formations made the landscape feel almost otherworldly. We finished among the towering coastal redwoods of Redwood National and State Parks, trading desert heat and volcanic terrain for misty forests, winding roads, and some of the tallest trees on Earth.

Finally, the journey ended beneath the towering redwoods of the northern coast, where ancient forests and misty trails created a peaceful finale.
